Jim is a leader in innovation and technology. He holds 3 U.S. Patents and has been responsible for leading engineers to design, build and leverage scalable digital platforms for leading global clients. As the Director of Technology at Elephant Ventures he’s been pioneering our innovation practice and leading our teams to deliver more efficiently and more cost effectively through the use of DevOps driven MEAN full stack Agile engineering.
Prior to Elephant Ventures, he was responsible for conceiving and managing 3D Systems’s consumer digital strategy – the 3D printing market leader.
Earlier, Jim led global digital architecture for Digitas NY (a Publicis Groupe agency) where he was a VP/Group Director. At Digitas, he worked with senior clients and manage cross-functional teams comprised of software architects, engineers, developers and marketers both onshore and off. Together they built multi-channel platforms (Web, Mobile, Social, SaaS, etc) for companies including American Express, Samsung, Delta Airlines, Kraft, Mondelez, Sprint, Intuit, Diageo, Aetna, IBM, Panasonic, Nielsen, Mead Johnson and many more. These platforms were scaled globally and integrated backend enterprise financial, security, content-management and search related services.
Jim is also an entrepreneur and has been a founder for a number of early- and mid- stage startups.
Jim graduated from Yale University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in History & English.
