April is the Director of our Product Development practice with over 14 years of experience in technology. April is a seasoned player-coach, providing product ownership and scrum master leadership for clients and Elephants alike.

Previously, as Group Technology Manager at Droga5, April was head of Droga5’s Digital Studio and led the charge from technical strategy to management of technical executions. At Droga5, she collaborated with capability leads to deliver adtech solutions that aligned with client’s’ marketing strategies and accelerated engagements and brand visibility by utilizing out-of-the-box solutions, experiential campaigns and emerging technologies such as 3D printing, AI, WebGL and VR. In addition, she managed a team of integrated producers, technical managers, developers and QA analysts.

Before joining Droga5, April was the Director of NY Technology for Organic, LLC, responsible for shaping the Technology Management discipline by instilling best practices, processes, and policies to ensure alignment with the agency’s strategy and goals. She also provided project oversight, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver digital solutions to meet client needs.

Earlier on in her career, as Associate Director of Technology at Digitas, April was responsible for the full life cycle development from ideation through delivery. She managed various scale engagements such as complex web experiences and native mobile apps.

One of April’s professional accomplishments includes the first-to-market indoor shopping mall mobile app that provides real-time, mall-based navigation powered by Bluetooth beacons. Stated to be the most extensive use of Bluetooth in any mall worldwide, the app remembers favorite stores and delivers personalized maps, style inspiration, sales and promotions right to the phones of shoppers.

At the start of her career, April was an application developer for Gannett Media and The United Way.
